Here are some of the people you can expect to hear from on February 27th:
Our Keynote Speaker for Power of HP is Elliott Levine, HP Director of Education for the Americas Region and the company’s first Distinguished Technologist focused solely on edtech. Elliott is developing products that are focused on personalized learning and virtual instruction, and truly understands the future of technology in the classroom.
As a former K-12 district administrator and professor, Elliott has an in-depth understanding of the education industry and aims to help make children more successful in the classroom. He has been featured in the Electronic School and American School Boards Journal, just one of the many education publications he has been featured in over his career. He also serves as an advisory board member to WNET, 3D Africa and PAPERbasket.
Tracy is the Director of Curriculum at Elizabeth Public Schools and played an instrumental role in initiating the district’s 1:1 initiative, distributing 17,000 student devices in Grades 3-12. Tracy started her career as a product engineer in the aerospace industry but left to become a middle school science teacher. Inspired by the power of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, architecture, and math) education, Tracy helped to initiate the curriculum for the STEAM program at Dr. Albert Einstein Academy School No. 29 in Elizabeth. Tracy’s goal now is to use her career and technical education to help prepare Elizabeth Public School students for college and careers as well as educating the teachers in the district to raise the overall level of achievement. Tracy has won multiple awards for her passion for the work that she does and the success that she brings to students and educators alike.
Anita is a Partner Business Manager at HP and has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector. With HP, she presents their innovative personal systems and print technology to business partners and customers. Prior to joining HP, Anita worked as the Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for worldwide technology marketer, Micro Warehouse, and helped them launch their PC hardware business as well as their dot-com business.
As an HP Global Education Consultant, Dana helps students unlock their potential to guide them to further success in their future. Dana will be discussing the Graham Windham Foundation’s HP Learning Studio at Power of HP and explaining how an innovation center can help students build, create and grow. Dana has been working at HP for 22 years and enjoys her role in instituting innovative solutions for schools and classrooms.
Jamie is also a Partner Business Manager with HP and is dedicated to presenting NVIDIA and HP’s Workstation Portfolio. With over 14 years of experience in technology, Jamie has stayed up-to-date on the newest in technology innovations, which has developed her passion for Virtual Reality technology and the positive effects it can have on a student’s learning experience.
At Power of HP, don’t be shy to introduce yourself to the host of the event, Founder, CEO, and President of MRA International, Bruno Tirone. Bruno started working as an electronics technician as a teenager and continued to learn and grow with technology. Prior to starting MRA International, he worked as a field engineer for WANG and a Sales Rep for Memorex Telex.
