Session 19

David Cittadino
Superintendent of Old Bridge Township Public Schools

Thursday, January 31st
2:45pm – 3:45pm

Avalon #7

Learning Lab Education Solutions

Old Bridge Township Public Schools’ highest priority must be the education and instruction of our students in how to learn, live, and work in an ever-evolving world. As personal computing devices are the primary tools of our “Information Age”, traditional educational methods alone are no longer sufficient enough to prepare our students to adapt and thrive in our information-rich society. Those students who are properly prepared in computer functionality, capability, and use will undoubtedly be able to embrace technology and globally access and interact with, the world at their fingertips.

Presenting on cutting-edge educational programs, David Cittadino, Superintendent of Old Bridge Township Public Schools, will explore the various initiatives among School Districts to advance career pathways to success. He will illustrate how HP Education Solutions have enhanced learning objectives in order to engage each and every student effectively. With Learning Lab opportunities, students gain the necessary tools and equipment to build on their skills by learning hands-on techniques to prepare them for post-graduation, offering real-life training and development opportunities.

David Cittadino is widely renowned for his role as Superintendent of Old Bridge Township Public Schools, with Old Bridge High School ranking among the largest high schools in the state. Cittadino recognizes, more than ever before, the enormous role that the integration of technology plays in the daily lives of our students and staff members. He is committed to a goal-oriented approach to ensure that educational technologies are appropriately and equitably integrated into the students’ educational processes in addition to the sustained education of staff members. His ultimate goal is to enhance the educational learning experience while, in turn, contributing to the overall achievement of students and staff.

“Old Bridge Township Public Schools is a 42-square mile suburban school district located at the southern end of Middlesex County, in central New Jersey.  The district has a total daytime student enrollment of just under 9,000 pupils, and students are housed in a pre-kindergarten annex, twelve elementary schools grades K-5, two middle schools grades 6-8, and a single campus high school with a separate facility for 9th graders.

Old Bridge Township was founded upon rich family traditions and a commitment to community values. Our schools are a reflection of those founding pillars. Through a character driven fabric that is generously woven through our programs in the academics, athletics, and the arts; Old Bridge Township Schools will always be a tremendous source of local pride and global impact.”
